* GRAPHIC PIC* The Va-Jay-Jay Needs Love Too! Why Compressing this Critical Area is Important
So yesterday we had a discussion on this area and someone reported the picture, moving forward we will have all serious discussions via the blog so there is no CENSORSHIP! Comments are enabled....SO LETS DISCUSS BEAUTIES.
NOW THAT IS OUT OF THE WAY
Let me clarify and recap yesterday's post in case you missed it! When you get a tummy tuck, liposuction, or BBL; there is a high chance that you will have a drain placed in or by your groin area.
The vaginal area will swell for a couple of reasons ie. open crotch faja, no compression, improper massage methods.
The body is smart and if your LMT is doing an actual lymphatic massage on you, fluids in the body will be directed towards the lymph nodes. One of them happens to be in your groin area. It's called the inguinal lymph node.
After your LMT massages the fluids towards the lymph nodes, the lymphatic systems will now filter towards the kidneys to be excreted through your urine. This is why regular massages, compression and fluid intake is very important to reduce swelling in the body.
NO LMT IS TO TOUCH YOUR PRIVATE AREA. IF A MALE LMT IS ADAMANT ON MASSAGING THAT AREA, PLEASE GET UP, GET DRESSED AND LEAVE. REPORT THEM HERE
Now you must understand how the lymphatic system works and its through movement of the joints and muscles! Here is a great article that explains it in laymen terms.
There is nothing fancy to help keep the swelling down when it comes to compression techniques. Extra foam pieces cut into triangles, folded chuxs (into a bulky triangle that is able to be slid into faja), poise pads...and WALA!
This area will either be numb or extra sensitive. If it is sensitive we recommend using iHeal CBD Body Butter to help reduce the topical inflammation. The CBD in the body butter and essential oils will not only nourish and moisturize down there but will hep with the pain.
So I know you are like GIRL is that going to mess with my cookie? Very valid question actually, the butters, oils and CBD all have antibacterial and anti fugal properties. As long as you don't get inside the vulva you will be fine boo.
So quick pointer, depending on the severity of the swelling it is important to have compassion and patience with the process. Consistency is key.
